Isaac Carree
Born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina, Isaac Carree found his voice in the choir stand while his mother commanded the pulpit at New Beginnings Community Outreach Church. He began his career singing with John P. Kee, and in 1995 he created the gospel quartet Men of Standard with Lowell Pye, Bryan Pierce and Michael Bacon. The group released several albums, and won two Stellar Awards for their 1998 project Feels Like Rain, which peaked at 11 on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. Carree's first solo album, 2011's Uncommon Me, hit #1 on the same chart.
